Did not want to leave!
What an amazing place to stay! I was so impressed with the fact that upon booking I had requested a unit on the higher floors (often requested, not usually delivered) and received one on the 17th floor! The views were magnificent, even when cursed with shocking weather for most of our stay, it was still nice watching the wind and rain from our sheltered balcony. The unit itself was comfortable, well equipped and very stylish with wonderful Asian style decor. The beds were amazingly comfortable, even the single beds our two children used in the second bedroom. The kitchen was well equipped. I enjoyed using the modern appliances, and cooking lunch for friends with that view as a backdrop was most satisfying! On the last day when the sun finally came out we ventured down to the pool which was so refreshing after soaking in the hot spa, it was wonderful. There are an abundance of fantastic restaurants to choose from, a stones throw from the building, and most convenient are the proximity of supermarkets and shopping mall, also just a short walk from the apartments. I would certainly not hesitate in returning and cant wait to come back!

Perfect
We got a good deal for three days accommodation at this hotel. The deal claimed that we would be on a low floor so we thought about floor two or three would be OK but we were much higher. We had a two bedroom unit. Unlike many hotels where one bedroom is fabulous and the second very ordinary both bedrooms had fantastic ocean views and their own bathrooms and we could see the ocean from both bathrooms. The lounge room had comfortable sofas and a wide screen TV and there was a second TV in the main bedroom. The kitchen was well equipped with a gas stove and oven, a microwave, dishwasher and large fridge. As I do not cook when on holiday I only used the microwave but I have no reason to suppose everything else would not work just fine. There were also plenty of cereal bowls, plates and glasses etc. Both bathrooms had showers but the main bathroom also had a large tub with an opening screen so it was possible to see the ocean while relaxing in a bubble bath. Most importantly the beds were comfortable and even the pillows were excellent, nice and fat and soft.
These units are not serviced unless you stay more than eight days. They provide a starter pack of coffee, tea, sugar and milk as well as small soaps, shampoos, a sachet of washing powder, dishwasher powder and washing up liquid. As we arrived by car we brought our own supplies but there is a shopping centre with a Coles and Woolworths supermarket walking distance away in Tweed Heads and an Aldi in Coolangatta.
This hotel is in a nearly perfect position. Across the road from a patrolled beach with a wide range of coffee shops and restaurants literally just outside the ground floor doors. Twin Towns club is just across the road and there is a wide variety of shops in Coolangatta's main street.
The swimming pool, billard room and gym looked clean and inviting but we did not have time to use them while we were there. There is a theatrette in the basement which would be great on wet days for anyone with children, just remember to bring their favourite DVDs.
We had a great three day stay, very relaxing, we would have liked to stay longer but work would not allow it. I would very definitely stay here again it is a great place and the staff, we actually only saw one man, was very friendly and helpful. This place is just perfect!

This is a magical place to stay
This hotel was absolutely fantastic, we had a 2 bedroom apartment on the 12th floor with a magic view. The unit was quite large, very clean and also beautiful furniture. The bathrooms were very large and the main bedroom was quite spacious, ensuite had beautiful big bath tub. Kitchen had all sorts of appliances that could be used.

Have stayed previously at Reflection on the Sea and both occasions have been excellent experiences. The staff are courteous, efficient and friendly.
